Updating IBM BAW External REST Api Service: Avoiding Duplication or Deletion of Existing Services

In this example I will show you how to update existing REST Api service in BAW.

First we are creating REST Api service:

Now I updated weather.yaml and added weathernowtwo method. I do not change yaml file name and recreate the external REST API service like below.

Now external service name becomes Weather_1 but ignore it.

We need to select “Replace an existing external service”

When we click finish it is just updating the existing service and it doesn’t lose any reference or we do not see any dublication.
